AI is everywhere.
Practical guidance isn’t.

This mini summit is here to change that. In three live sessions and a hands-on certification workshop, you’ll learn how to use AI efficiently and ethically in real instructional design work—everything from planning and audience analysis to writing, sequencing, and improving learning materials, without sacrificing quality or control.

Agenda

Session 1

How to make AI work for instructional design

A practical walkthrough of where AI fits into your course design process — and where it doesn’t. This session introduces a 5-layer instructional design framework that helps you integrate AI intentionally, without losing pedagogical depth.
George Palaigeorgiou
CPO & Co-Founder
Panagiota Christodoulou

Session 2

Practical AI for L&D 2026: moving beyond generic use

Discover the AI tools that are changing instructional design now. Moving beyond general use, this session focuses on precision and personalization. You'll get a practical walkthrough of how to draw rapid insights from training content, how to train AI to act as your dedicated project partner, and how to distill complex data into trainee-friendly formats.
Theodosis Karageorgakis
Senior Learning Designer & Developer, CARDET360 & Founder at Educraft
Session 3

Design faster with AI: creating learning experiences that build skills

Content creation drains time. In this session, instructional design consultant Marina Arshavskiy breaks down how to scope, draft, review, and ship courses faster with AI — while designing for how adults actually process information and build skills, not just consume content.
Marina Arshavskiy
Instructional Design Consultant, Author & Educator at Your ELearning World
Session 4

Live Q&A panel

No slides. No scripts. Just a live, honest conversation. Our speakers will come together to answer your questions and share what they’re seeing in 2026—how AI is shifting course creation, instructional design, and training delivery.

FAQ

How is AI used in Instructional Design?

The better question is, how isn't it. Right now, AI is being used for everything from automating workflows and conducting analysis, to planning, writing and optimising content. The problem we've found is that it's pretty shapeless. And that's why we're running this summit.

Who is organizing this event?

We (LearnWorlds) are running this event. If you don't know about us, here's the high line: we're an LMS for everyone that wants to build learning into business, whether you're a creator just starting out, or a corporate on a global rollout. For the last four years, we've been busy embedding AI in practically every part of our platform. So you could say we know our stuff.

Who should attend this summit?

Course creators, instructional designers, L&D professionals, and learning business owners who want to apply AI in their work practically and responsibly.

What will I learn at this event?

You'll learn how to use AI in real instructional design workflows. That will cover everything from planning programs, to creating and sequencing courses, and analysing your audiences and data.
You'll also leave with a certification to prove your skills.

Do I need any specific background knowledge to attend?

Just a curiosity about instructional design and AI. (Preferably both.)

How long will the summit take?

There are three 50-min sessions with Q&A and a 20-minute panel discussion. The certification workshop is self-paced, and you can complete it on your own time.

Will there be any resources provided post-webinar?

Yes. You'll get the session recordings, plus extra resources including an ebook to help you keep learning after the event.

Who will issue the certificate?

The certificate will be issued by us, LearnWorlds. We've been recognised by Training Industry as one of the top 20 AI in training companies in the world.
